Hello, I'm Shomari Roberts, a design-minded Front-End Engineer in NYC. I turn ideas into production-ready web experiences with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
I pair a designer's eye with solid engineering habits to build clean, accessible, and performant interfaces—sensible components, thoughtful interactions, and a focus on what users feel.
I started in UI design, then moved into code to bring concepts to life. I completed the Full-Stack Web Development Bootcamp (Bloom Institute of Technology), working across React, Redux, Node/Express, and SQL, plus Git workflows.
Since then I've doubled down on the front end—Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Framer Motion—and the craft around it: accessibility, testing, and performance.
